Da Hong Pao (Red Robe Tea) – The Essence of Wuyi Rock Tea with a Rich, Smoky Aroma

Red Robe Tea, or Da Hong Pao, is renowned for its legendary “rock bone and floral fragrance”, offering a deep, full-bodied liquor with a smooth, smoky flavor and a lingering subtle sweetness. Its distinct mineral-rich aftertaste is the hallmark of authentic Wuyi rock tea, cultivated in the rocky, mineral-rich soils of the Wuyi Mountains. The region’s misty climate, steep cliffs, and ancient rock formations create the unique yan yun (rock charm)—a rare and highly sought-after characteristic that makes Da Hong Pao truly one of a kind.
